I am an exclusive Mapfre insurance agent, based in Los Cristianos since 2017. It depends on a lot of things: your age and how long you've held your licence, the vehicle, where you park it and the level of cover you choose. As a rough guide, third party can be around €350 a year and fully comprehensive around €600, but the real range is wide. The honest answer is to ask us and get a figure for your own case, with no obligation: message us on WhatsApp or drop by the office.
It isn't compulsory, but it is strongly recommended. Tenant's insurance covers the contents of your home (furniture, appliances) and your liability for damage to third parties or to the property itself. It's essential protection at a very affordable price.
