Buildings means the property itself: walls, floors, installations. Contents means what is inside: furniture, appliances, clothes. Getting both figures right is what decides whether the settlement is enough, and we work them out with you.

Not by law. But if you have a mortgage the bank will require at least buildings damage cover, and you can arrange it with whoever you want, not necessarily with the bank. We give you the certificate to hand in.
Buildings is the structure of the property: walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, installations. Contents is everything inside: furniture, appliances, clothes, personal belongings. In the office we work out both figures with you so that neither falls short.
As a tenant what matters is covering the contents and the public liability, which is what responds if you cause damage to the flat or to the neighbours. The buildings are usually the landlord's concern. We set it up exactly that simply.
Yes. Theft and water damage cover have different conditions in properties left unoccupied. We explain it before you take out the policy and choose the option that allows for it.
If it is urgent, Mapfre's 24-hour assistance sends a plumber. For the claim, send us photos over WhatsApp or come to the office: we open it ourselves and coordinate the repair and the loss adjuster if needed.
Yes, through the public liability section of the policy. It is the cover used most often in a block of flats: a leak that reaches the flat below is paid by your insurance, not by you.
You do not: everything can be done over WhatsApp with a remote signature. But if you would rather see it in person, we are at Av. Juan Carlos I, 20, in Los Cristianos, just above the 99, and you do not need an appointment.
